Here is a collection of photos from our last few days here in Peje/Pec.
Once the construction was finished, we had to clean the school from top to bottom. The oher evenings we also spent some time doing a little cultural exchange by taking some time to share in some local food and learning a few traditional Albanian dances. Everyone had a blast! And yes, there are new dances to teach anyone who wants to learn!
Last night at our evening program we talked a little bit about leaving well. About the importance of saying goodbye after a great week of hard work and lots of laughter. I suspect tonight’s departure will be a little sad for many; yet, most are ready to be back with family, friends, and yes…even pets;) Indeed Peje/Pec has been a great experience for us all. And the vast sense of hospitality we have received will not be forgotten.
